Mena Alexandra Suvari (born on the 13th of February, 1979) is an American model and actress. She is also a fashion designer model. When she was in 1990, shortly after beginning her career as a model, Suvari began acting in TV shows like Boy Meets World. She made her film debut in the 1997 documentary Nowhere. The performances she made on the film American Beauty, for which she won the BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie led to her being the subject of more interest. In the following years, she appeared as the main character in Sugar & Spice (2000) alongside American Pie star Jason Biggs.
